If you don’t already know, the popular Affliction clothing company has expanded to hosting their own MMA events. Their first event is entitled “Affliction: Banned” and will take place on July 19, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The title “banned” comes from the situation where Elite XC banned Affliction from advertising at an Elite XC fight when they had learned that Affliction was going to become a fight organization also. It makes perfect sense that Elite XC would not want a competitor promoting at their event.
The “Affliction: Banned” fight card is very impressive, its completely stacked with MMA veterans and top fighters. Below is a video of the recent press conference with Fedor Emelianko and Tim Sylvia, these two will be fighting each other as the main event.
