Affliction, the successful MMA apparel company, who turned into a fight promotion company, has announced their partnership with billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump. Already stacked with a great fight card, Affliction has again increased their chances of success with “the Donald”.
I think Donald Trump has a natural ability for marketing and can fit in perfectly with the fight promotion business. Obviously, Donald Trump is looking to capitalize on the opportunity of the fastest growing sport in the world. And it looks like he will, Donald Trump understands the entertainment business and has experience on delivering results and high broadcast ratings. Most importantly, he also brings the Trump factor: the media is drawn to him and attracts attention on everything he is involved with.
This partnership will really bring another element into MMA and will continue to increase the already rapidly growing sport. What’s more is that Andrei Arlovski has been officially announced as part of the fight card and will be fighting Ben Rothwell. Nice work Affliction!
