Recently the price of gi’s across all companies has risen and it is getting difficult to find a nice gi under $150 dollars. One of the more affordable gi’s is the gameness pearl, coming in at a little over $100. The Gameness gi is a single weave gi that is very light, good for summer months, and fast drying. The collar is also made of rubber, which makes it extra fast drying(the collar usually takes the longest to dry), helps keep bacteria from soaking into it, and is also much tougher for someone to grab and manipulate you or choke you.
The Gameness Pearl is very similar to the Koral gi in this respect. Koral is one of, it not the most popular gi recently, but their price usually turn away newer people in the sport. Try the Pearl for a good alternative! The Pearl is pre-shrunk and comes in blue, white, and black.
