For years the Ouano brand was the industry standard for MMA fight gloves. However, the UFC recently has switched to Century as their official and endorsed fight glove. Seeing the gloves on TV you might not be able to tell any difference at all, but there are several differences that Century has included in their gloves. Featuring pre-curved fingers for a more natural and comfortable fit, and thicker leather for more support and protection, from both hand injuries and cuts. Although relatively new, the fighters seem to have had no trouble making the switch and most welcome the change.
